Rubin, Anwar and Paul Wolfowitz (World Bank)
According to reports, the PKR gathering at Melawati Stadium, Shah Alam 1st July 2008, was called by Anwar to explain his case. Anwar's supporters wanted to know what he had to say about his sodomy report by his 'lover' and victim, Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
There were questions fielded by supporters and these included, as to why Anwar went at length to phone his American friends including ex-World Bank chief, Wolfowitz? Apparently, Anwar said that he deliberately did this in order to pressure the Malaysian Government to panic and also to create unrest and chaos. This bad intention by Anwar is
abhorrent and mischievous. All Malaysians should condemn such unpatriotic plot.
In general, relations between Malaysia and United States have been very cordial and productive. Malaysia's trading with USA have reached up to USD36 billion a year. There are thousands of Malaysian students studying in their universities. Since 1969, more than 400,000 Malaysians had graduated from Americans' universities and are currently holding top positions in governmental and corporate world.
We cannot tolarate one single Malaysian called Anwar to undermine such relations which in some way, had contributed to the vibrant economy of Malaysia and its peoples. We thank America for this. Anyway, Anwar's selfish and mindless urge to sabotage this concorde, using PKR, DAP and PAS, must be rejected but all Malaysians regardless of race and religions. We must unite to save Malaysians from facing upheavles and catastrophe which are not in the best interest of Malaysians, who are enjoying the best economic growth at all times, achieved by the government of the day.
Anwar's aim is to lead this country using illegitimate means which are not democratic. He wants to do things beyond the norms of parliamentary democracy, since 1957 when Malaya then, attained Independence from the British. He is trying to whip up support wrongly and finally to usurp power and government through unconstitutional means.
PKR members must know this and, therefore, should vehemently oppose this satanic and self-centred desire to take over the government for his greedy end.
